Try your notice free- What does NOFO Workspace do?
- It organizes excerpts from your funding notice into a working checklist. You review the sources, add missed requirements, assign owners and dates, compare revised source text, and export your plan.
- What is free?
- Import your own readable PDF or text file, inspect the source and suggestions, and save or reopen a portable project file. The public grant directory also remains free.
- What does paid access include?
- One payment of $49 USD gives one person 365 days of access to the full workspace, including work for their organization and clients. Manual checklist items, review notes, task assignments, multiple sources, revision comparisons, CSV, HTML and calendar exports are included. There is no automatic renewal.
- Is the checklist complete or professionally reviewed?
- No. Suggestions can omit requirements, include irrelevant text and lose table or column context. You must check the whole original notice, all amendments and linked guides. The software does not provide a human analyst, an eligibility decision, a compliance certification or a funding guarantee.
- Do you receive my documents?
- No. Document processing and notes remain in your browser. Save a project file yourself to keep the work. Payment and access records are stored separately. We collect only a small set of aggregate product activity events, without document contents, names, source URLs or notes.
- Which files can I use?
- Readable PDFs up to 10 MB and 150 pages, or UTF-8 text files. Each source is limited to 300,000 characters. Scanned or partially unreadable PDFs are rejected rather than silently imported. Paste complete checked text if needed. A project supports eight sources; saved project files are limited to 12 MB.
- How do I get access on another device?
- Save the private access key before checkout. Paste it on the access page of the other device. Then open your separately saved project file. Anyone with the key can use the license or request its refund, so keep it private.
- Are dates added automatically?
- No. You enter each task planning date yourself after checking the official deadline and time zone. Calendar exports are all-day planning tasks, not official deadlines, and do not synchronize automatically.
- What happens when I replace a source?
- The workspace compares excerpts and resets review states across the project. Unchanged items retain their task notes when they can be matched unambiguously. Download the separate amendment comparison to preserve removed excerpts and their prior notes.
- Can I get a refund?
- Yes. Within 14 days of payment confirmation, restore your access key on the access page and request a full refund for any reason. It goes to the original payment method and ends hosted access. Your downloaded projects remain yours. Applicable legal rights still apply.
- What happens after the year ends?
- There is no automatic charge. Downloaded exports remain usable and saved projects can still be read in the free preview. A new purchase is needed for another period of full hosted workspace access.
- Can I still buy the human-reviewed research service?
- No. It is closed to new orders. Any previous purchase keeps its original contract. Contact us with its Stripe receipt if you need help.
- Is this a government service?
- No. NonProfit Radar is operated by Toledo Technologies LLC. The directory uses Grants.gov data but is not endorsed or certified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Official notices and awarding agencies control.
